Stonehage Fleming hire spree continues with planner hire

Stonehage Fleming's hire spree has continued with the appointment of Julian Vydelingum as a senior financial planner.

Vydelingum (pictured) joins from expat focused wealth business AES International, where he was an associate director based in Dubai.

He will start immediately in the role and will be based in the firm’s London office, reporting to head of wealth planning Susie Hillier.

Vydelingum has 15 year’s financial services experience, with his CV including a stint as a senior wealth planner at Killik & Co.

Vydelingum's appointment follows that of Kate Boswell as director for the multi-family office's wealth planning team from Handelsbanken Wealth Management in January

That came the same week as Glenn Murphy moved from Schroders to become Stonehage's chief operating officer. The firm also hired Mona Shah – former head of collective research at Rathbones – as a director in September.

Hillier said: ‘I am very pleased to welcome Julian to our team. His significant experience in financial planning means he can immediately add value to our existing clients.'

She added that Vydelingum and Boswell's appointments demonstrate Stonehage’s commitment to expanding and developing its wealth offering for UK and international clients.

Vydelingum said: ‘It gives me great pleasure to be part of the wealth planning team at such an exciting time in the group’s journey.

‘I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues and being part of the next stage of Stonehage Fleming’s growth.’
