We gathered on a winter’s day,
Ten fund houses and over 50 delegates,
At Four Seasons Hampshire way,
On penultimate November dates.
Ideas of new and global shine,
Brought fierce travellers to the fore,
No fallen tree on railway line,
Ever stopped attendance before.
Into inspiring workshops delegates go,
For newfound funds of innovation,
The offerings rich and pleased they were so,
They’d accepted the invitation.
Keynotes too of suitable match,
Spoke on topics varied in range.
Monica Parker, founder of Hatch,
Discussed your brain on change.
The world today is changing fast,
Parker spoke with tenacity,
But we, with emerging science at last,
Can maximise our change capacity.
Columnist and entrepreneurial sage
Terence Mauri took the floor,
He spoke of AI and its imminent age,
Oh the crowd they did adore.
So alas, our event was brought to a close,
Our last, as Christmas grows near.
But fear not dear reader, for like a rose,
More will bloom next year.
