An investment boutique founded by former Odey fund manager Freddie Lait has tapped his former employer for a new recruit.

Odey-backed boutique taps firm for new hire

The investment boutique founded by former Odey fund manager Freddie Lait has tapped Crispin Odey’s firm for a new hire.

Latitude Investment Management hired Camilla Tamworth as an equity analyst working alongside Lait (pictured) on the Latitude Horizon fund.

Tamworth had worked seven years at Odey Asset Management, where her primary focus was on retail and business service stocks in Europe, the UK the US.

Previous to this, Camilla worked at corporate investigation firm GPW and held analyst roles at GAM and Architas.

‘I know Millie well, having previously worked with her for a number of years, and I’m delighted to be welcoming someone of such calibre to the team,’ said Lait.

‘Her experience and investment rigour will be invaluable to Latitude’s research and stock selection process.’

Odey Asset Management has a minority shareholding in Latitude.
