A round-up of our regional forums

A round-up of our regional forums

Hundreds of quality delegates, 16 fund houses, four regional forums and two keynote speakers – all in one week. Phew!

Each forum included discussions on a variety of asset classes from around the world and fund managers explaining their investment strategies.

First and foremost, we kicked off our whistle stop tour in London. Keynote speaker Simon Singh (pictured below), physicist and all-round funny guy, treated our delegates to an original World War II enigma cypher machine, explaining its intricacies and the secrets it could hide.

For our second stop, we whizzed up to Manchester for the North West forum, with special guest speaker Stephen Chan (pictured below) discussing US/China trade war implications and who is going to come out on top.

No rest for the wicked, as we packed our suitcases and headed over to Birmingham for the Midlands Forum. Having visited Birmingham quite recently, it was great to see so many familiar faces.

Finally, for our last pit stop, we travelled across the Scottish border for our Edinburgh Forum, with Singh this time explaining the mathematics behind one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, The Simpsons.

At every forum, we asked where our delegates were increasing their allocations over the coming year. Here, you can compare and contrast the regional results.
