John Gikas is a director and senior portfolio manager at Eurobank Asset Management where he runs a large range of funds within the money market, fixed income, mixed assets and absolute return schemes using a value investment style across them all. Prior to joining Eurobank John spent three years at SGAM Greece where he was head of fixed income. Originally from Greece, he is certified by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. He studied business at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and away from fund management he enjoys tennis, soccer and photography.
Aris Papageorgakopoulos has worked at Eurobank Asset Management since 2004 where he is head of fixed income. He runs the LF Greek Government Bond Fund, a Greek sovereign and corporate bond fund using a benchmark aware macro investment strategy. Prior to joining Eurobank he worked at Intertrust SA for two years. Currently based in Athens, Papageorgakopoulos started his career in 1996 at Interamerican Life Insurance and after three years he moved to Egnatia Securities SA.
The purpose of the Fund is to invest its assets primarily (ie at least 65% of the net assets) in debt securities of Greek issuers or issuers that have an exhibition in Greece.
