Schroders legend Bruno Schroder has died aged 86, following a short illness.
Schroder (pictured) passed away on 20 February. He had been a director at the fund giant since 1963.
In a statement, Schroders chairman Michael Dobson said: 'Bruno made an enormous contribution to Schroders over more than 50 years. He was passionate about Schroders and unwavering in his support for the Company.
'His long experience, good judgement and sense of humour will be sorely missed. On behalf of everyone at Schroders I send our heartfelt condolences to Bruno’s wife and family.'
Schroder joined the commercial banking and corporate finance division of J Henry Schroder Wagg & Co in 1960.
